"The Legend of Shing Jea" is a Guild Wars: Reforged event racing to Kaineng City, in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. We have a big goal of raising $2000.00 CAD (~1450.00 USD) for cancer research.

Summary of the event + We want to take a moment to say thanks you to everyone who came out, participated in, watched, cheered, and supported The Vanguard Trials.
Gorseval the Multifarious is the second boss in Spirit Vale, and for a lot of groups it has a bad reputation, mostly because most guides are focused on skipping the World Eater mechanic. That skip is the fastest way down, and we will set you up for it, but this guide also shows you how to pivot mid fight if the damage is not there, so your team never feels stuck on progression. To skip World Eater cleanly, your eight damage and boon damage players want to average roughly 15k DPS each (more is better), but don't sweat that number on your first pulls. Learn the rhythm first and the DPS follows.

The event, The Vanguard Trials, will start 1st of August 2026. The GOAL of this event is for teams to complete the "Story Mode" dungeon quest chain in Presearing Ascalon as quickly as possible. This is a big marathon-like race!
"Getting through it" is a series of beginner raid guides for easily, and safely, clearing the raids.
Traverse the Spirit Woods aka Spirit Run, happens right after Vale Guardian. It is not a raid boss, it is an event in Spirit Vale, and some teams skip it, even more so now that you can open any wing at any boss or event. If your team is new to raiding though, Spirit Run is a must-do. - It adds a ton to the atmosphere of the wing, and it also awards a Legendary Insight. On top of that there is an achievement, "Keeping the Lights On," for carrying a lit brazier through the event, and the brazier lets you convert a Soul Mirror into an Infused Soul Mirror if you are working the Envoy Armor I legendary armor collection.
Vale Guardian is the first raid boss in Spirit Vale (aka Wing 1), and for many players it's their first real step into raiding. Unfortunately, plenty of those players walk away after things don't go well and never come back. If that sounds like you, this guide is for you. It isn't about speed, efficiency, or running whatever the meta comp is this patch. It's a team composition and a plan that makes it easier to manage the mechanics. If you play this comp, you'll have the breathing room to actually learn the mechanics. Once those click, you can walk into your next raid with the confidence that makes everything after this easier.

To progress from Progression to Experienced, a Static must achieve "green times". These, and their guidelines, are laid out below.
Last week, we lost a great community member and teammate. Join us Sunday, 10:00am Mountain Time March 22nd in a walk from Lion's Arch to The Grove in remembrance of our good friend, Linno.

Good communication is the key to a successful static. While many teams tend to settle on one or two main “leaders,” every single member should actively work to grow and make their static the best possible. Discuss decisions about raid strategies, goals, expectations, adding new members together as a group.
Learn about static organization and Management. Subjects like attendance and roster tracking can be done with Aleeva witch is available in the discord. Google sheets can be used as an added layer of organization for the clears

Static Reps are the bridge between the Mod Team and Your Team. They are usually, but not always leaders who take on a more active role in the team’s organization.
We are looking for some additional hands and eyes to help us further improve the website. More in particular: We are looking into having some translations done for the guides section, and we are looking for some talented artists to help us out with creating some kick ass art for hero's and overall content. If you feel like you could assist with any of this please give us a heads up in Discord and we'll be in touch.
